Fantastic Bathroom

Jacek and his team at JN Decor did an amazing job of painting and decorating our Victorian period conversion flat. Jacek pays attention to detail and his work is flawless. Jacek takes a keen interest to complete the work to a high quality standard, ahead of time and leaves the place spotlessly clean. He went out of his way to get the exact paint colour we wanted, worked within the pre agreed budget and provided outstanding customer service throughout. I cannot recommend Jacek enough for anyone who needs to get a great quality job done whilst exceeding expectations in regards to budget and timelines.

Great Service - Far above expectations

Jacek and his team were great. They did a complete bathroom rip out and new install.
Best points:
1. Constantly cleaning up after themselves so that the house was clean
2. Able to handle (without extra negotiations) additional things that arose - one of which was quite major.
3. Completed on time and checked for any micro snags a week later.

The above is what I would expect from a good tradesman. Jacek was also great at challenging some of our ideas (in a friendly way) about our plans for the bathroom.  He would raise potential points we hadn't thought about with our design, would suggest alternatives and would add his own ideas from his long experience about what people actually like in the long term.  I didn't expect this and it proved to add real value to the end result.  Thanks Jacek.

Excellent work, lovely people

25/11/2022 		We are at the end of an extensive renovation in our four bedroom house in Acton - three bathrooms, full kitchen removal and installation, rewiring, new plumbing, new parquet floors, reskimming walls, covering up an unused door, adding a new door, tiling, decorating, basically the full set of work. Jacek and his team work to a really high standard. They do intense days and will work on Saturdays when necessary to get things done on time. And they clean up at the end of every day to keep mess and dust to a minimum.
We both found them so easy to work with and they were great at solving the inevitable problems that come up with a job as big as this. Jacek is also really good at thinking one step ahead, planning what material he will need to keep the project moving at pace.

We had a separate builder working on a small structural job with a back wall who was a complete disaster. Jacek and his team stepped in at very short notice when that other builder let us down very badly, making our house secure again and working into the evening to solve a bad problem. For this we will be forever grateful.

We are now enjoying our fully renovated house, which feels like a whole new home. 

Jacek is a genuinely good man with a good team behind him and I recommend him in a heartbeat.

Best choice I’ve made

30/10/2022 		Choosing JN Decor was the best decision I’ve made.  They redecorated my whole flat fixing flood damage and making everything look like new.  They moved all the furniture, cleaned up every day and made sure everything was protected.
Jacek and his team came up with great ideas that saved me time and money, and made sure I knew what was happening every day.  I trusted them with my keys and they took care of everything.

Their work is of the highest standard and I love the results.

High quality exterior painting job

13/06/2022 		Jacek and his team did a first-class job painting the outside of our house. Everything was done thoroughly. His workers turned up on time and took little time off from the job. They appreciated the regular offer of coffee! He did various repair jobs that could only be accessed with scaffolding. They finished within the 4 weeks we had allocated and tidied up well at the end and all the stuff that they used plus the rubbish accumulated was picked up immediately.

Retirement flat refurbishment

11/06/2022 		Jacek and his team have, recently, completely refurbished my elderly mother's new flat/home.  Despite working under tight time pressure, the work was completed, not only on time, but to a very high standard, including dealing with all the unexpected hitches that arose as we got further into the work; advising soundly on the best and safest solutions for my mother and having to juggle numerous deliveries.  All the while Jacek continued to work his magic and my mother now has a safe and beautiful home.  Please do take note of all the good feedback - it truly is richly deserved.  Jacek is not only a highly skilled and experienced tradesman, but, works with a real sensitivity to the situation and the people involved.  I cannot recommnend Jacek and the JNDecor highly enough so will just have to content myself with the standard 5 stars.   Thank you, again, Jacek. :)

10/05/2022 		Jacek and his team painted the exterior of the front of our house which was in need of some tlc, and the bedroom and bathroom inside. All work was carried out professionally and to a high standard, they always came exactly at the time we agreed and did exactly what they said they would do. This included scaffolding being delivered and removed, which only remained for a week, which I know sometimes isn't the case and can remain for ages before it is finally collected. We are very happy with the work done and would be happy to recommend them.

First class work again

This time the team painted the outside of the house to a very high standard, and undertook some bathroom improvement work. It was very efficient from initial quotation to completion. There was real respect for us and our home, always leaving things tidy at the end of every day. Jacek consulted us carefully about decisions and JN decor delivered another fine piece of work. Jacek and Robert are fantastic decorators. They are basically super tidy, move all the furniture and clean up afterwards. I am very pleased. They painted all external windows, woodwork, hallway, front door, kitchen  etc.  They are hardworking and did a really good job with all the preparation work. Their work was professionally done and precise and very strsightforward to deal with regarding the quote and payment.  What's more they are nice guys! Fantastic Decorators

Fantastic painting services

01/07/2020 		Having read the reviews on this site, I decided to try JNdecor and am so happy to have found Jacek and his team (although, only Robert was allowed on site due to the current restrictions).

Initially, I needed them to paint all the badly deteriorated external woodwork (including front door, window frames and sills) where Robert did an absolutely fantastic job with impeccable attention to detail.  I couldn't be more pleased with the end result so I then asked to have a bathroom and a bedroom repainted.

Both rooms were done so beautifully that I got another bedroom done which again was completed quickly, with minimal disruption and to a very high standard.

From quote to the end job, Jacek couldn't be more helpful and efficient.  Nothing was too much trouble.  Robert worked incredibly hard the whole time (even in some uncomfortably hot weather), was always on time and cleaned up at the end of every day - plus his work was of the highest quality.

I cannot recommend JN Decor enough and am delighted to have found a reliable and reasonable decorating company.

The paintwork was in a bad state and the amount of preparation that was done to rectify this was impressive. The result is a fantastic finish which both my neighbour and I are extremely happy with.

I cannot recommend Jacek and his team at JNdecor Limited too highly for any decorating jobs you may have. I have used Jacek twice now. The most recent before Christmas was a major redecoration of my large 5 bedroom house. First - the quote. Jacek came in significantly below two other quotes I received and his quote contained a full room by room breakdown which was very clear. Second, in terms of pre-work - buying paints etc, Jacek did everything for me which was great. Third the work itself.  Jacek used a team of four. All four guys were really pleasant and very easy to have in my house. The work was not only of the highest quality but was carried out efficiently and with minimal fuss. Everyday, Jacek’s team cleared up and kept the house very clean. Jacek turned up every day to make sure the job was on track and that there were no problems. The work was completed in less than two weeks which was much faster than I expected. Finally, I was incredibly impressed with the service offered to move all my furniture. Everything from sofas to books was moved and stored tidy and then returned to its original place on completion. All I had to do was sit back. Many thanks to Jacek and the guys for  a magnificent job.

 We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail, especially in the preparation, undertaken by Chris, who quietly got on with this, so much so that we hardly knew he was there.

A great team doing a great job

31/03/2017 		I asked Jacek to paint the interior of my home. He gave a room-by-room and job-by job quote so it was easy to decide which parts to go for.
When the work started, his team were fantastic. Always polite and courteous.  Always on time.  The team worked one room at a time (we agreed the schedule in advance) and they were happy for me to make some tweaks or additions to the workload.  

The end result is fabulous!  A clean, tidy and beautifully decorated and finished home.  The quality of the work is consistently high, and you can see and feel the pride, care, attention to detail that they have taken in their work.

The bill was fully itemised so I could see exactly how the cost broke down.

I am a very happy customer and will happily recommend Jacek and his team.  I also now know that they do kitchen and bathroom fit-outs.

04/07/2016 		Every aspect of our dealings with Jacek have been both friendly and trustworthy. We had previously used Jacek to paint the interior of our conservatory, which is a complex task. This was accomplished with minimum fuss and with great satisfaction on our part. It was therefore a no-brainer to use Jacek again to decorate the entire exterior of our house this involved scaffolding, which was efficiently erected. The ensuing decoration was very efficiently done with virtually no disruption to us, and to great affect. Jacek's team (Chris & Robert) are very self contained and a pleasure to have around.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jacek very highly.

He will be our first port of call in future.

26/04/2016 		I have taken on  builders and decorators many times over the years and I can honestly say that JD Decor are head and shoulders above any others I have employed.  Work is of a high quality with helpful workers who minimise disruption and clean up after themselves.  Nothing is too much trouble and whilst the most recent job I had done - the complete refurbishment of a shower room next to my home office  - it was done with great sensitivity to the fact that I was working.    Above all Jacek is very straight in all his dealings and is a pleasure to deal with.  When they were here last time, we had another business in decorating the interior and exterior - quite a 'fancy' local firm who had been in business since the 1960s.  There was no comparison in the work done by them and the work by JN Decor - JN Decor were vastly superior. Would not hesitate to recommend.

12/07/2015 		Agree with all of the excellent reviews of JNdecor on this site. Jacek was recommended by Dave from Gasworks, another local Which Trusted Trader who installed our new boiler. Jacek and his team lived up to that recommendation. The work was a refurbishment of our main bathroom and a loft ensuite bathroom.

The job was completed professionally and to the quoted price. Jacek keeps all of the receipts to  show the cost of all extra materials that they supply themselves.

The team were very hard working and friendly at all times. Jacek obviously cares that his customers are happy with the work. So in summary, a stress free experience with a great result. Agree with others that Jacek is a very likeable person! Will definitely use them again.

I’ve used Jacek and his team three times now to decorate both the inside and outside of my house and each time they’ve done an excellent job. The decorators take a great deal of pride in their work, are highly skilful and meticulous with the finish. They also turn up on time, work tirelessly throughout the day and keep everything clean and tidy. Jacek is full of suggestions too, which is an extra plus. What's more, he prices his work competitively and sticks to his quote. In short, he’s honest, reliable, trustworthy and extremely good at what he does – not forgetting a really likeable guy. He was called to fix a very badly plastered big living room to a high standard and also to finish the decoration in it.
The quality of work was  absolutely great and it was done within the original budget and within the original timeframe. Jacek's team was polite, professional and the left the place cleaner than what they found it.
I can't wait to hire them again when we'll renovate the bathroom.

08/09/2014 		Jacek and his team have recently completed the exterior paintwork of my house. This involved replacing rotten woodwork then preparing and painting surfaces of eves, doors and windows. Whilst on site he took on extra work to install and paint 3 new garden gates. This is the second job they have done for me having decorated my sitting room last year.

Jacek's team are hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. They deliver high quality work with a good attention to detail. Jacek retains a close management, he is swift to respond to any questions that arise and goes above and beyond to ensure that the job is completed to a very satisfactory level.

07/09/2014 		Had Jacek and team (Maciej) help out on some painting, plumbing and redecorating work, which took about a week (exactly as he has estimated). Could hardly fault the work - it was carried out in a professional, skillful and decent manner, with care and diligence. Maciej is hardworking and cleans up everyday, leaving tools neatly in a corner. Not calculative or petty, happily did a few little extra bits while on site. Have had a number of tradesmen over the last few years (about 10 different tradesmen in 4 years - covering internal decoration, plumbing, roofing, kitchen installation, etc) and have found my experience with Jacek the best - it was professional, friendly, honest and easy-going. A very pleasant experience.

They took great care in prepping before painting, and used quality exterior paint; the premises were always left clean and tidy at the end of the day.  On completion, the windows were cleaned, plants put back to their original location and pathways swept.  Several neighbours commented on the high quality of the job, as indeed the builders working on the house next door… Jacek made regular site visits to ensure that the work was going to plan.  Simply the best team we've had in 22 years in the area.

Jacek and his team did a great job. They replaced our bathroom and had to take it right back to basics - including a new ceiling! They arrived when they said they would and took very good care of the house with plastic sheeting fitted carefully on the carpets. After each day they left things tidily. With a bathroom there are lots of little decisions to make and they were very good at checking with us at each stage. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. We are delighted with the results and would thoroughly recommend JN decor.

They worked tirelessly and the work was of an extremely high standard.  Jacek was really helpful at suggesting improvements which could be made to the decor including painting over some old floorboards - it has completely transformed the room!  Jacek and his team even helped us hang all our pictures and get the bathroom fittings in place too.
I will be using JN Decor again next year to do the front of the house and I would not hesitate in recommending them - if there were more stars on the rating I would add them on too!  Top quality service!

There seems to be nothing he can't do. He brings solutions,not problems. His attitude is always cheerful, positive and endlessly helpful. After a bad experience with a loft conversion, Jacek and his team was like the clouds parting and the sun coming in. Highly recommended.

I was thoroughly impressed with their work so when I wanted a new kitchen fitted and my front room decorated in my flat I gave them a call. JN Decor came and gave me a very reasonable quote and I decided to go with them. I was not disappointed the work was of a high quality and finished on time, they even worked Saturdays.  The guys that worked on my flat were always polite, punctual and trustworthy and took pride in their work.  What I really like was that they listen to my needs and they made good suggestions when discussing plans such as layout etc.  I will definitely use JN Decor again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone that need work doing on their property.

The decorators have been excellent- hardworking with few  if any breaks, paying attention to the preparation work and finish,  and cleaning up at the end of each day. We had a day of 'odd jobs' undertaken by Adam who was also efficient and tidy!
Jacek supervises to ensure that work goes to schedule and to supply equipment and tools as neccesssary. Very impressed with JNDecor and  have no hesitation in recommending them.

What a great start to 2012

06/01/2012 		Read all the great reviews and thought he was worth a punt. Jacek came round and said the tiling of the bathroom floor would take a day and a half. Two days later, his colleague Adam came round at 8 in the morning. Amazingly, he worked constantly, no lunch break, and finished Friday night at 18:30 to avoid interfering with our weekend. There were loads of little issues we hadn't forseen and each time I took Adam's advice, and it looked great, just really, really great.

Having missed my flight and sitting in a freezing cold house, I rang Jacek after reading all the positive reviews. He came within 15 minutes, fixed the door in another 10, and refused to take payment! Restored my faith into human kindness - thank you! 03/08/2011 		I hired the services of JN Decor all the way in February 2011 to start a painting and decorating project in June 2011. The work included painting my entire house which comprised of 5 bedrooms, 2 hallways, through lounge, kitchen and parts of my bathroom. The job invovled painting the ceilings, walls, skirtings, radiators, door frames and doors, installing a new plasma tv on the wall and channelling tv cables inside the wall. All in all I was very happy with the way the team at JN Decor carried out the work. They were professional, punctual, hard working, dedicated, and clean. The team worked flat out including Sundays to get the house ready for my new flooring to be laid by another party. The whole project went on for almost 3 weeks. I will not hesitate to use JN Decor again in the future and would highly recommend that you give this team a call.

21/06/2011 		I can't recommend JNdecor highly enough. They are so professional, cometitively priced, brilliant at their job, and lovely people.  I asked them to quote for painting my hall, stairs, landing, kitchen and living room - plus wall-papering my chimney breast, after I had seen the feedback on here.  The quote was the most competitive, and I asked them to do the job, and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of work and attention to detail.  The job was actually quite tricky, especially the wallpapering, but the result was amazing.  During the job I even asked them to do some more work for me - putting together some IKEA wardrobes, and benches whcih they did perfectly again.  The team are so reliable and helpful - and even came round at 10 minutes notice to help get a large chair through my front door, just to help me out!  Will definitely be using them again - can't recommend highly enough.

He is extremely meticulous in his work, leaving the house in a very clean state each evening. 28/12/2010 		We had some redecorating to be done in two rooms due to a water leak having damaged a wall and ceiling. Jack came round to estimate the scope of work and seemed more interested in the detail and discussed the various approaches to the repair than another decorator who worked for a bigger company we also contacted. While Jack's quote was not the cheapest, we hired him as he was more interested in the job and thoughtful than the other company. The work was carried out promptly and to a high standard and even included a small touch up on the landing at no extra charge. Jack clearly cares about his customers and does what he says - rare these days.

10/11/2010 		Jacek did a decorating job for us: painting three bedrooms, the hall and stairwell, and he fitted laminate flooring in two bedrooms. The quality of his workmanship was excellent and he finished the job in the time he said it would take. Jacek is very committed and knowledgable about his work, as well as being helpful with tips and advice. He is very reliable and we highly recommend him.

21/07/2010 		Like many on here I contacted Jack due the reviews on this site.  How pleased I was.  He, and his team, did a great job of plastering my living and bedroom - and at a very competitive price.  They were punctual and polite and knew exactly what they were doing.  As a bonus I had some coving that I have hated for years - but Jack and the team came up with a great solution - whereas another company I got a quote from said there was nothing that could be done. The other thing I liked was Jack's compete confidence in his abilities - it puts you at ease.  Am planning on using them in my kitchen next - and would highly recommend them.

16/05/2010 		I contacted Jack based on the reviews on this site.  He immediately
answered my call and arranged to come and quote the next day.  He gave
me a very competitive quote for decorating my 2-bed rental flat (wall,
ceilings, woodwork and doors) and I called him a few days later to
agree to the work.  I met him promptly at the flat a week later, to
hand over keys, and asked him to do a few more odd jobs (removing a
large wardrobe, sanding worktops and fitting a bath panel).  He priced
these there and then and started work.  I then went on holiday for two
weeks leaving a friend to pay him for his work a week later.  He did
exactly what was agreed, at the agreed cost and time frame.  The work
was of a very high standard and he left the flat cleaner than before
(even the neighbours commented that he was clean, tidy and left no
trace when he had finished).  I have since recommended him to other
people and asked him to come and do some redecorating at my home.
Having dealt with many tradesmen over the years, this was beyond doubt
the best experience I have had.  Highly recommend.

Jacek and his helper did an excellent job at replastering ceilings, painting walls and restoring woodwork. Their quote was extremely reasonable, they kept the disruption of our office activity to a minimum and finished on time and on budget.
They were extremely tidy, trustworthy and hardworking as well as being lovely people.
I would highly recommend Jacek to anyone!

He was also very acommodating working around my 7 month old sleep times! He always tidied up after himself and left my flat tidy at the end of each day. I would definately recommend Jack.

We have a business in Acton and he replaced a ceiling for us in our shop, this needed to be done at very short notice whilst we were on holiday. We didn't pay for it ourselves, that was down to our landlord, so I can't comment on how much it cost, but he must have been reasonable for our landlord to have agreed. He is friendly, efficient, reliable, and most importantly trustworthy and honest, he did exactly what he said he would when he said he would. Having used various builders in the past we know only too well what a nightmare some of them can be, unreliable and shoddy workers. So thank you for an excellent service.

22/07/2009 		Recently i had my flat painting and decorating by Jacek Nowosielski.I must say this guy is excellent in his work,He is a very hard worker and very reliable,he work so long hours without stopping even for a cup of coffee.Before he started doing the work,we discuss a price and we came to an agreement,i was happy with it and so was he. He told me how long it would take to finish the work and it was done.I couldn't be more happy than that.He is honestly a great worker,clean and tidy which i like that and a great guy to know.I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like their place to look new again.Well done Jacek

I would particularly recommend him as we were able to dicuss how much work I wanted to do (I'm considering selling my flat and want to freshen it up for that reason) and how much I wanted to spend, and we were able to agree a very good price. He has also been a great source of advice about which colours would suit each room best.With so many rooms being worked on at once, Jack has also helped keep the disruption in the flat to a minimum - very important in a one-bed flat. I've always been able to get back into the bedroom at night, and make my meals in the kitchen when he's not here.I highly recommend him.

 He painted the front of my house in Milton Rd and fixed the broken gate.

24/06/2009 		Jack did a great job with my bathroom - he has completely rejuvenated it!  Regrouted all the tiling, ripped out the old carpet and installed new, installed new bathroom fittings, bath panel,  repaired the leaking cistern (saving me a potential new loo fortune), replaced the taps, painted, varnished and decorated throughout, my bathroom is now a pleasure to behold and to wash in.  Jack kept to his estimates - both in price and time - was creative in his projects and did an excellent job throughout.  We will definitely be using him again.

23/06/2009 		Jacek did the flooring in our hallway. He took off the carpet and sanded and varnished the wooden floor underneath. Before his work the wood looked old and dull, but when he was done it looked and felt amazing and like new. He also fixed several gaps in the hall and on the stairs. He worked incredibly quickly and was a pleasure to have around. His price was excellent too! We'll definitely use him again, and I'd recommend him to everyone.
