19/08/2020 		Bill Fraser-Campbell: Mark solved a problem with our garden lighting that had been troubling us for a while, identifying and fixing the problem and suggesting replacement lights for the two that had failed. The replacement lamps are a big improvement and cheaper than I expected. He also identified a simple change to the system that improves the earthing. He arrives when he says he will, he’s thorough and he’s pleasant to deal with. We’ll definitely call him first for any future electrical work

We found Mark here on the W4 website and contacted him to carry out some work on our house renovation after we'd found a number of issues with the existing wiring. He went out of his way in helping us and we've since had him back to continue work on the house, including a particularly tricky bedroom which required a total rewire with new sockets installed. We won't hesitate to call him for all future work. As well as being excellent at what he does and extremely knowledgable, he's a genuine gent and a pleasure to have around. Always does a great job of tidying after any work, is honest and reliable. Look no further.

Asides from being a thoroughly nice guy he's straight forward, honest, conscientious, professional, tidy and interested in solving those dilemmas that regularly crop up with household electrics. Replaced a load of old spotlights, switches and sockets for a very reasonable price, gave good advice and made a real effort to find us what we needed (the old spots were huge square ones and Mark found an ideal round replacement that we're chuffed to bits with). He's our first port of call in future, no hesitation in recommending him.

He was about to mow his lawn but came straight over and disconnected and removed the light and another one, filled the holes and tidied up. I shall definitely ring him again the next time I need an electrician.

Mark arrived promptly yesterday and he and his mate looked at the problem in great detail, and were able to find and show me where the issues were. They worked flat out to fix them and charged a very reasonable rate for the work done. I'm very happy to recommend him.

10/05/2011 		Mark's just completed a partial rewire for us, very impressed with his service, price and ability.  At initial pricing stage Mark's visual inspection identified possible further work, after we'd appointed and he'd checked it further we were pleased to learn the extra wasn't required.  Taking also into account how competitive he is, all certificated work, assistance purchasing best/cheapest equipment, cleaning up during/afterwards and sticking to agreed time-scale have absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

09/02/2011 		Mark was responsible for the complete rewire of our 5 bedroom property in East Sheen in October last year. He came highly recommended and I can understand why! Mark was absolutely brilliant.  I was probably far too ambitious trying to manage the refurb, as well as working and looking after 2 children.  Not only did Mark do a first rate job, @ a very competitive price & complete the project on time, but he also managed to come to my rescue when others let me down.  He referred me to a wonderful plasterer and also someone to restore the wood floors. Jack, Luke & others on the team were just as hard working and professional.  Mark made sure he tidied as he worked & was always punctual and took pride in his work.  He worked alongside plumbers, loft builders etc and was popular and easy to get along with.  He was always on hand to explain and make suggestions where appropriate.  I will always be grateful to Mark & can't recommend him highly enough.

A very pleasant 'can-do' attitude, Mark rectified the problem with my spotlights, even making a trip to B&Q for a part for the switch. Really thorough job was done at a reasonable cost and I wouldn't hesistate to call Mark out again to do any electrical work. Much better than Chiswick's bigger firms!!

20/02/2009 		I too had a serious power failure affecting the lower ground floor (including kitchen and utility room) of my house between Christmas and New Year.  An emergency electrician had already been around to get our heating back on and his diagnosis had been that it would be necessary to rewire the whole kitchen etc at a cost of around £2,200 for the electics alone.  The job would also have required the kitchen units being removed from the walls and the tiles being removed from the floor and walls, at further expense and with no guarantee that they would ever go back on as they were.  On the basis of the positive feedback provided on this website, I got in touch with Mark for a second opinion.  He came around promptly, applied some logic and thought outside the box a bit and came up with a solution which did not require the devastation that the other electrician was proposing.  His work was incredibly tidy and efficient. £600 and 36 hours later the job was done and we were back up and running. 

Mark could easily have said the whole place needed rewiring and awarded himself a nice big fee for the pleasure but he put himself in his customer's shoes and found the solution that we wanted and at a much lower fee.  For that reason, as well as the fact that Mark is a very nice guy to have around the house, I will not be thinking twice about who I contact next time an electrical problem arises.

31/01/2009 		Mark came to our rescue between Christmas and New Year, and despite being busy he turned up as promised and fixed our serious downstairs power failure in a highly methodical and persistent manner -the consummate professional!  I can't recall having met such a good electrician, who not only really knows his stuff, but is super friendly and understanding too.  I've already used him again, (for a 2nd emergency when we lost all heating!), and on each occasion he really saved the day.  One never really gets round to writing these type of website feedback reports, (this is my first!), but I felt compelled to do so for the first tiem, ..because Mark is seriously a 'cut above the rest'.

13/10/2008 		We called Mark out in an emergency following an upstairs flood that had gone through all the lighting in our property - he was able to come to our property within a couple of hours at a reasonable rate.  He not only carried out the work we asked of him to a very high standard but also gave lots of invaluable advice.  An absolute life saver on a nightmare day.  He and his son worked very efficiently with no disturbances for us, and at an extremely reasonable rate.  I did not know who to call this morning and am so glad I used this website for a recommendation.  Mark is an electrician that you can trust.

13/10/2008 		Mark came out on a Saturday afternoon for what we thought was going to be an expensive quote to fix wiring in our hallway.  Instead he fixed the hallway, the dining room and the bathroom lighting under an hour and charged us a very reasonable amount.  Mark was professional in the service he provided and we found him trustworhty.  Other parties have advised us that the job is going to be a lot of work so it was a pleasure to encounter Mark who put our worries at rest and got on with the job at hand.

Mark is a great guy and a mate of another treasure on ChiswickW4 - Peter Earls (see KCS plumbers). Mark provided us with a friendly, professional service, which was competitively priced and completed on time at short notice. He updated our ancient fuse box, earthed our gas and water pipes, added additional sockets and wired up our kitchen for a cooker hood.

Contacted Mark about completing an electrical survey on my new flat. Was very flexible and quick in terms of timing of the survey and very prompt in reporting. I had a verbal report the same day and written the following day (by post and email). Very helpful to me with respect to numerous queries I had, contacting relevant 3rd parties on my behalf. We have just finished major building works on our house, and Mark was responsible for all the electrics including the Lutron lighting system we had installed in our basement. Mark has done a great job: he's easy to get hold of, prompt and very reliable. In particular, we had a Lutron lighting system installed by Mark in our basement which is really fantastic.

Mark resolved some dodgy wiring for us, ....
Mark resolved some dodgy wiring for us, and refixed some loose sockets (which were left by a different electrician), coming round at short notice and staying till 10 o'clock to get the job done, for a very reasonable price. Came back to fit a bathroom fan and a couple of new switches, very efficiently and well priced.
