The quality of the finish is excellent, and it was great that they left the place without any mess or rubbish at all, and that the job started and finished on schedule.

22/03/2011 		Terry's three guys have just finished two and a half days of sanding, sealing and varnishing our entire ground floor (kitchen, hallway, dining room, living room) and we are so pleased with the outcome. It's really lifted the look of the ground floor. They were hardworking, patient with our cat and worked around our sofa and TV (everything else was moved) and left the place spotless. I'm grateful they even returned the screwdriver they borrowed without me having to ask for it back! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family. We were very happy with the quote too.

Good things happen

03/11/2010 		Well, it was at the end of a 6 month, fairly disastrous build where nothing had really gone right. Terry turned up, looked at the floor, gave a quote within 3 hours. Changed his schedule to suit ours. We got back from a week away and witnessed a miracle. Lustrous, rich looking timber - where there had only been a plaster stained, paint specked headache before. He transformed our our house. And our faith in the building profession. Can't recommend highly enough.

02/06/2010 		Terry and his team have just completed a great job at my home.
We already had oak floors in the kitchen and hall and we asked him to re-surface those and then find matching colour and styleof boards to extend into the sitting room.
The work was delivered exactly on schedule with a great finish on the re-furb areas and an identical match for the new oak. He has also just been back without delay to finish off a small snagging point. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him.

Terry also returns calls and emails very promptly so that all round service is entirely professional.

New Engineered Flooring and Floor Repair

11/05/2010 		I have been using Terry Finch's company for the last 6 months.  He has just organised a replacement floor in a tenants property due to water damage, I am absolutely delighted with the standard and his team left the property in a clean and tidy condition.   I would have no hesitation in recommending Terry.   It is nice to find someone who cares about his work.    He has also carried out some floorboard repairs which again all completed without any problems.

21/03/2010 		I needed someone to revive the wooden floor in my house after builders had covered it in protective film which wouldn't come off. I rang Terry and he came round promptly, gave good advice and provided a quote quickly. He recommended sanding and resealing the floor and I was delighted when it was finished as it now looks as good as new. As well as doing a good job, communication to make arrangements etc was easy which made a pleasant change from some companies.

I am really pleased with result, the old floor has been transformed and looks as good as a new floor. I was really impressed with the level of professionalism from Terry and his team. Floor Sanding & Varnishing

18/11/2009 		At the point of relocating from Switzerland back to Chiswick, we contacted Terry to strip back and re-varnish existing floors in the lounge, entry hall and a study/workroom at our house.  He was exteremely flexible, working around the schedule of other tradesmen and he did a first class job.  3 months later we are extremely happy with the enduring results.  I would not hesitate to recommend Terry / Wood Unlimited.

Floor Restoration

17/08/2009 		Terry and his team made a fantastic job of restoring our oak hallway floor and our pine lounge floor. We had the decorators in at the same time and Terry's flexible approach meant the whole operation ran smoothly. We were so impressed we asked Terry to sand and wax our staircase. Terry helped us choose the finish and was extremely helpful throughout. When we want to lose some more carpets I'll be calling Terry again. Thanks Terry

14/07/2009 		After reading feedback from this site last year, we arranged to have Terry fit new oak floors in our halls and on the stairs.  However, due to building delays, it wasn't until this year that Terry's team started work.  We are pleased to say that the feedback on this site is correct.  Terry's amazing floor layer, Andrew, levelled all the floors, laid parquet in the bedrooms and oak planks in the landings and on the stairs.  His attention to detail was amazing (corners, undercutting, fixing new skirting - were all brilliantly done) - and nothing was too much trouble.  Terry (and Andrew) are "can-do" men - if we wanted something additional done, it was "sure, no problem".  They take such pride in their work - for example, due to the hot weather the varnish dried too quickly - and Terry was quick to tell us he wasn't happy with the finish and would we mind if he resanded it!  In short, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Renewed Oak Flooring

Terry and his team were extremely efficient and professional, the work to a very high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend them. 13/03/2009 		Terrys chaps just laid an oak covering on our old, tatty stairs and landing, as well as a new floor in 3 bedrooms. Now we have no carpets and what looks like a new house for just a few thousand. It started with just the stairs but the quality of his work was so high and the finish looked so good that we just kept adding to the job till all the rooms had been done. 

Quality work, reasonable prices and nice workmen that didnt spend all day drinking me out of tea and coffee! I would recommend them to anyone.

30/11/2008 		Terry, me and Rachel would like to thank you and the guys so much for such a brilliant job done on all the floors in our house. I particularly love the stairs as I cant work out how you managed to achieve the finish. It's perfect!
It also feels good when people visit and pass comment. Naturally I tell them it was you and pass your name on even if they don't want it. I'm sure you'll be getting a few calls from them in the coming twelve months.

Terry and his team have restored the antique pine floors in 3 rooms of my home. They worked to time scale and budget, kept me updated with progress and patiently listened to and answered any questions I had and made no mess at all! They even spent one full hour sanding down one single step as it had so many coats of paint on it! It was a pleasure have the team carry out the work. It was obvious they were serious professionals who take pride in their work from the moment I met them. I would strongly recommend Wood Unlimited to anyone considering having work done on their floors - I will be using them again to carry out further work in my home. Thanks Terry and team!
