I trained in interior design at Manchester Metropolitan university in 1998. My philosophy is to enhance the architecture of your home, create good flow & a harmonious environment.

Transformational refurbishment

Flawless execution for any size project

24/09/2023 		My first project with Juliette started in 2008 when she redecorated my house in Richmond.
In 2009, she organised the full refurbishment of a 5000 sq foot house and decorated it.The execution of the construction was on time and budget, and the high quality of the construction and materials persists to this day.

In 2018, she organised the construction and decoration of a gym,pool house and games room anex of about 1000 square ft. The execution of the project was on time and budget and her great taste and precision made the space very pleasant and functional.

This year she organised the reconstruction of my kitchen and two sets of stairs.Again, the project was executed on time and budget, and the space looks amazing.


She has always beat my expectaions, and thats due to her great taste, selection of tradesmen and an eye for perfection.

Juliette is a true professional and very pleasant to work with.

She knows who to contact to get top quality work done, will come up with fantastic designs, and will oversee implementation. She works to the highest of standards and is easy to work with.

Chiswick flat refurb

30/07/2013 		I used Juliette for the refurbishment of my flat in Chiswick.  From the start I found her very organised in terms of how she approached the project but also provided lots of ideas and suggestions for details that I would never have thought of myself.  Juliette came up with the overall plan for the work to be done, along with proposals for the colour scheme, fabrics and selected new furniture.  Following this, Juliette sourced suppliers from her book of contacts to do the work, and ensured the results were to a high standard, again, noticing and dealing with details that I would not have been aware of myself.

I found Juliette very easy to work with throughout the entire process.  She was very flexible listening to questions I had, adjusting plans based upon feedback and tactfully pushing back when she believed my ideas wouldn't work well.

Juliette handled all the work very efficiently, responding to my questions promptly, chasing suppliers and all the other project details needed.

I'm really pleased with the final outcome and friends and relations have all been really complementary about the huge transformation from a blokey, tired and somewhat messy flat to something modern and sophisticated.

In autumn 2004 I asked Juliette to help ....
16/09/2007 In autumn 2004 I asked Juliette to help me redesign my two boys bedrooms into a bedroom to share and a playroom. The design she came up with was workable, space effective, contemporary and acceptable to my children! The work was done under her supervision quickly, efficiently and to an excellent quality. We have been delighted with the space and it has worked exactly as we wished. Juliette was friendly, efficient, professional and receptive to our ideas as well. We would work with her again if the situation arose.

Juliette recently designed a new shower ....
12/09/2007 Juliette recently designed a new shower room in our loft making maximum use of the very limited space. Part of the process was the removal of a hot water tank into the attic and the complete replumbing of the system. She provided and supervised very efficient builders who, like Juliette, were perfectionists and ensured that the work was completed to a very high standard. We had problems with a leaking shower enclosure which Juliette painstakingly worked to resolve despite great resistance from the manufacturers.

Juliette Abbey Interiors are more than an interior design service: they added value to this by providing us with clear recommendations on styling and helping with both the aesthetic and practical issues of un-cluttering the house. Juliette has a profound understanding of what is available in terms of products, finishes and accessories and where to find them, and was instrumental in sourcing key lighting pieces, fabrics and furniture - and at reasonable cost levels! Juliette was able to advise on styling the house, once decorated to a high and exacting standard: she advised us on how to maintain a continuity of style throughout the house, while ensuring each room was functional, visually pleasing and distinct, while remaining part of the 'whole house'. She has the ability to interpret the client's taste and practical needs and come up with solutions - she turns what could be the potential nightmare of transforming a whole house, into a pleasurable and exciting experience.
