08/09/2011 		I had some guttering done by another company, which was a disaster.  Dean on the other hand, did an excellent job.  He replaced the guttering, put in a drip and also replaced a pipe, which was damaged by the other company.  Dean was very polite, prompt, turned up on time and he charged considerably less than the other firm.  His standards of workmanship was very high.  I would certainly recommend him and use his services again.  It's a pity I didn't call him before as it would have saved me a lot of time and money.

14/07/2011 		Dean has now done two repairs for me, small jobs which nonetheless he carried out on time and with the minimum of fuss. Unlike some roofers, he did not go looking for extra unnecessary work to pad out the job. His rates were reasonable and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

roof repairs and guttering

19/05/2011 		Dean did a solid job making various roof and guttering problems good. He did the work in 2 phases as we agreed so as to fit it in between two bigger jobs he already had on his books.. which meant he could start quite quickly. He was always straight up, polite, and just got on with it! He also undertook a few extra tasks which which rolled into the original cost estimates which I found to be very reasonable.

Roof rescued

28/09/2010 		In May this year Dean and team fixed a leak in our roof, after identifying and dealing with the true cause - frost-damaged render, slipped tile and dodgy previous lead installation.

I apologise to him that it's taken so long to post this feedback, but it means I can state that the roof still seems OK.  

Dean fitted us in promptly, to ensure he could deal with us before starting on another major job elsewhere. Payment was requested by invoice a couple of weeks afterwards, and seemed reasonable.

Only minor gripe is that there is a small piece of damage to the internal ceiling plasterwork in the bathroom (immediately under the roof), possibly due to the way Dean and co were fearlessly strolling over the top of the roof. We didn't notice this till afterwards, and it seemed too minor to call him back in on.

It was reassuring to have Dean do the job as it was evident that he actually knows his trade and also enjoys it. He takes the time to answer questions and explain things clearly and calmly. 12/04/2010 		I called Dean when water started coming through the ceiling in my bathroom.  He made time to come round the following morning to try and patch the problem and subsequently fitted our roof replacement into his busy schedule with minimum delay.  Very professional service and highly recommended.

Cannot fault Dean and his work

30/03/2010 		Dean and his team have just spent a week replacing the slate pitched roof on the back of our house.  We got a couple of quotes and Dean was the most reasonable.  He was also very straightforward, quick to diagnose the issues and honest about the options available to us. He was easily contactable and very accomodating when we revised what we wanted doing (natural slate etc.) and was also happy to explain the differences +ves/-ves in types of insulation, slate etc.  He has worked hard through rain and shine and just got on with the job to a very high standard.  The roof and chimneys are now immaculate.  Dean went the extra mile and fixed problems as he spotted them without troubling us.  Honest, straightforward, hard working and trustworthy - as well as an excellent roofer - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dean.  We'll be straight on to him when we need the flat roof replacing!

20/02/2010 		Aside from a couple of rain-related delays that were obviously beyond his control, Dean was a real star. He gave us an extremely competitive quote then, unbelievably, dropped his price when he discovered on closer inspection that the problem with our roof was not quite as severe as first thought. He could easily have charged us the original amount and we would have been none the wiser. What a gent.

11/02/2010 		Dean came to sort out my leaking gutters. He immediately spotted the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently. More importantly he pointed out some deterioration of the brickwork on the front of our 100 year old house which, if left, could cause serious problems in the future. To drum up more work for himself? Not a bit of it. He said it was something the decorator could do when the exterior gets repainted shortly..

22/10/2007 Dean is an Angel! Very efficient, communicates his plans, checks on weather, keeps in contact, sticks to his word. Trustworthy, skilled at his assessment of problem. Sees a problem through, was happy to come back and see why our problem didn't resolve first time. Sensible pricing. Very nice person, wouldn't hesitate to recommend - a real Diamond. Will definitely ask Dean to quote on any future work again.

Have used Dean for a number of repair jobs on our flat roof, sky light and guttering. He has always turned up and completed the job quickly, efficently and cost effectively and is thoroughly pleasant to deal with in the process. During a particularly rainy patch he came within half an hour of me calling when we had some blocked gutters causing damp. Highly recommended.
