Welcome to City Greens. We provide gardening services for all types of gardens from balconies to large communal areas. Our key services include: Garden re-design (soft & hard landscaping), general tidy-ups, quick inexpensive garden 'face-lifts' that involve tidying the area and injecting some colour and interest. 07/03/2010 		Helen turned our waste land into a beautiful and functional garden/living space, combining paving, lawn and flower beds perfectly. After discussing requirements (and more importantly our limited budget) she drafted a number of excellent options including garden layout, plants and paving. Even moving a few tonne of dirt and waste through the house wasn't an issue - each day we returned to a clean and tidy home. I would not fail to recommend Helen to anyone, she and the team are great.

28/06/2008 		When Helen arrived on Monday morning to start my garden she found me in floods of tears - surrounded by builders and with furniture piled high after my move to my new home. She promised me that by Friday evening I would have a garden to escape into away from the chaos. She did not disappoint! I was amazed at the wonders she wrought in just a few days in a drab back yard that had no planting at all and that the builders had vacated only the day before. Here I am at the weekend with the builders still grouting my kitchen floor and boxes everywhere yet outside is a colourful and beautiful sanctuary where I can retreat. What impressed me about Helen was the way she combines great plantsmanship and design flair with excellent project management skills. She led her small team from the front, everything happened in line with the plans and she met her deadlines. On top she was a pleasure to have around and she really cheered me up! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her. First class!

29/09/2007 In the space of a week, Helen Hoey and her team (Martin, Fran and Mario) have completely transformed our overgrown and run-down back garden with new fencing, paving, skilled pruning and horticultural know-how. They were also all considerate, friendly, hardworking and efficient, which was much appreciated, and the fee was reasonable, too. All in all, we are delighted with our revamped garden, and would have no hesitation in recommending Helen and City Greens to anyone.

Helen did a wonderful job on our garden.....
03/09/2007 Helen did a wonderful job on our garden. It is not big but functional, not dull looking and pretty low maintenance. We are novice in gardening having lived in a flat before this. Helen listened to what we want and provided us with lots of suggestions and useful tips.

Helen and the team from City Greens have....
Helen and the team from City Greens have just redesigned my 70ft garden from what was an unused muddy bog to a beautiful, family friendly garden and have done an excellent job from the brief through to the design and implementation. Helen and the team where on time, tidy, friendly and honest and most of all listened to my brief and met all of our criteria. The garden is now a true extension to the house; I have no reservations in recommending city greens.

City Greens provides container gardens l....
City Greens provides container gardens like window boxes and large planters. I used them recently to make up and install some winter window boxes. Helen kept to the budget and made the whole process trouble free. The effect is great - my house looks really smart. Its a small company but I think it'll do well.

I had my terrace and window sills transformed into mini Kew gardens thanks to Helen's help. City Greens is an excellent small company that listened to what I wanted and did'nt go over budget. Highly recommended.

City Greens - Money Maker!! I decided to....
City Greens - Money Maker!! I decided to move house early this year and after spending ages redecorating the inside it was great to have so many viewers - but alas no-one made any offers - so I couldn't help but think that the reason for this was that the garden was a total mess and was putting people off. The garden was like the Amazon in Chiswick! So I looked on the Chiswick website and found the advert for City Greens. Helen Hoey from City Greens came out the following day and suggested things which I hadn't even thought of! It was great someone else was doing the work! It took Helen and her team three days to complete the garden and it looked spectacular. So much so I didn't want to move! The following week the first three viewers to the house after I had the garden done all made an offer and I accepted the one which was £5000 over the asking price! What a result! The Garden only cost a fraction of that! So thank-you City Greens.

City Greens is our first choice for gardening services - in fact, our only choice these days. When we moved into our new home, Helen took our dull, rectangular patch of lawn and designed a spacious, original and beautiful garden. She and her team are fast, friendly, tidy, co-operative, thoughtful and creative. We had no hesitation in leaving our keys with them and they were most concerned to leave everything in good condition when they had finished. It's rare to find a service provider so committed to good and personable service. Ten out of ten - totally recommendable.

Feels like we got a new house without ha....
Feels like we got a new house without having to actually move. Terrific transformation of dull and depressing yard onto which we had kept curtains firmly closed for 22 years into a palace of earthly pleasure. Thank you Helen and team for a friendly, efficient, pleasant competitively priced and imaginative service. Removed unwanted large greenery, moved beloved shrubs to safe new positions, erected stout fences and laid paving flagstones (Helen, how did you manage to carry those yourself?). Many thanks.

I have a typical terrace house garden in W4. Helen has transformed it from being bare into a lovely space. Based on an initial consultation she interpreted my rather vague ideas into a beautiful garden in 1.5 days leaving no mess inside or outside.

I have to say we used City Greens last summer and I am decidedly unimpressed. I think Helen overcharged for what she did, and one year later, you'd never even known we used her services at all; I need to hire a gardner all over again. She was also not helpful when I complained either.

Helen has been helping me over the last ....
Helen has been helping me over the last 2 years with regular garden maintenance and advice and this year the garden was transformed by the addition of structural planting. She is charming, honest and hard working and her rates are very reasonable. Earlier this year I was delighted when she suggested replacing my shed roof as it saved me the cost and inconvenience of buying a new one – not to mention being more environmentally friendly. Highly recommended.

Helen has transformed my small Glebe Estate garden from scruffy and uncoordinated to smart, stylish and colourful for a very reasonable price. She has great ideas and worked very fast. She also cleared up thoroughly. I can't recommend her too highly.

Helen's approach was very down to earth and we found she immediately understood our ideas for the garden and could transform them into a practical and reasonably priced solution. All her team were very pleasant and professional. We would definitely recommend her and will use her again.
