We were actually sad to see Jasmin's team depart after completing the project. I do not usually take well to the intrusion of builders; decorators; electricians etc. but the team from Forster & Co. were a joy and repaired & repainted our window frames to a very high standard.
Jasmin keeps a close on on progress altho' Diego and his crew clearly take pride in their work and are respectful of the host's home.
I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Forster & Co.

Jasmin provided a very detailed quote as well as useful advice about the best type of paint to use and how to minimise cost. Jasmin and her team were always very punctual and Jasmin was very organised in terms of admin and providing regular progress updates.  Work was done to a very high standard and they left the house clean and tidy. We would certainly recommend.

28/6/17 Forster & Co have just completed the exterior painting of my house.  I am really pleased with the finished result.  The team of Stan and Peter worked really hard, were very tidy and Jasmin frequently checked in to make sure I was happy with progress.  The quote was reasonable and I felt the whole process went really smoothly.  I will definitely use Forster & Co again and would highly recommend.

Anette and Andrew worked very diligently and I hardly knew they had been there at the end of the day. The job was completed to a high standard, Anette even sanded an area of my kitchen floor which had discoloured. I would use Jasmin's services again when the need arises and recommend her highly.

Jasmin and her delightful team came promptly as announced every morning and by 4pm, the miracle started to happen... WOW, most enjoyable, and indeed I am grateful. When the job was finished they removed the protecting plastic lining, and voila... clean and dandy.
Try them. First class, and delightful, friendly team as well.
If you wonder they began the facade of my house, and then slowly but surely I asked them to decorate the interior as well.. Done perfectly in no time.

01/12/2016 		Ben's firm did a great job painting our downstairs rooms.  The quote was fairly priced, detailed, and promptly delivered, with a long list of references.  They were able to start quickly, and the two guys who did the work, Stan and Peter, were friendly and polite.  They protected surfaces and furniture thoroughly, worked quickly and efficiently, and minimised the inevitable spread of dust at the sanding stage.  The final product looks great.  I'm sure we'll be using Ben again in the near future.

How to be at peace with your neighbours

16/11/2016 		After many complaints from my wife and nasty looks from our neighbours I decided to end my misery and with the help of the most useful Chiswick Service Directory, I was able to avoid a lot of hassle and loss of time which would have been caused by consulting the Yell Directory by approaching a few local artisans.  We found Forsters' response to our email prompt, the following visit short and to the point, with the job starting on the following Monday.  The painting of the front of our house was done in record time by a couple of friendly and efficient workers to our satisfaction. The cost was within our budget and very competitive.

30/10/2016 		Ben was recommended to me by friends, and he didn't disappoint.  As I was unsure of how much work was needed Ben broke down the quote and was happy to discuss all options, he also gave me a list of other customers I could call for references.  He was always on hand to answer questions, either by phone or email and on one occasion when I was worried about something - he turned up to reassure me.  The work was done in exactly the time he said, his team of two were wonderfully diligent, efficient, exceptionally tidy, very trustworthy and did a fabulous job....  now if anything else needs doing I will no long be worrying about where to start, but just call in Ben - I have already given his name to 3 friends who are thinking of doing 'work'.

02/10/2016 		I used Ben and his team (Annette and Andrew) to paint the outside of our house in September 2016. It was quite a big job, estimated to take three weeks. The first thing that surprised me was the quotation, which not only detailed the work but came with ten reference customers and their phone numbers, which I have never seen before on a builder's estimate (I actually called three of them up and they were all genuine happy customers). By comparison one other estimate I had came on a scrappy handwritten price of paper, and another gave the quote over the phone, since writing it out would be "too much effort". The team were excellent: diligent, hard-working, tidy and very low maintenance from my perspective. They handled some unexpected complications (a window that turned out to be rotten) easily and without fuss. They actually finished several days early, and the quality of the work was excellent. They are the best painters I have used in 25 years. Highly recommended.

10/12/2015 		Ben painted my entire ground floor whilst I was away on holidays for a week.  He carefully took all details of the work I wanted done and I handed over the keys. I have to say that I was thrilled on my return to find that he had done a first class job! He did a feature wall involving hanging some expensive wallpaper which had a detailed pattern.  It was difficult to do but it is faultless. I cannot recommend him enough. It was great to have a trustworthy team to do the work in my absence. I will use Ben for any future decorating in my house.  He's also a really nice guy!

Both jobs were excellently and efficiently carried out and I am extremely pleased with the results. Scaffolding was needed to reach and paint the side wall above my car port and this was erected and taken down quickly and efficiently. The bedroom, which was damp in places, now looks amazing. Very good finish. Ben's workers turned up on time, were extremely polite, and worked steadily through the day and both jobs were finished within the time specified. I will definitely use Ben and his team again for any future jobs and I have no hesitation in recommending them (and, indeed, have already done so to several friends).

We had new floors and everything was really well covered. The workers were always pleasant and helpful. There was lots of sanding and fixing up first so they are proper decorators not just painters.

Of the people I contacted Ben was the only one to turn up on time and provide a detailed estimate which we were happy to accept. He was able to schedule the works around our availability and the works were completed on time and on budget. Snagging was undertaken with a smile and throughout the works, his team were professional, clean, tidy and as unobtrusive as it is possible to be in the circumstances. 08/11/2013 		I needed to have my flat repainted, one of the rooms' walls re-skimmed and floor laid in it. This needed to happen within a specific time scale and with minimal supervision as I was abroad. Of all the decorators I contacted, Ben seemed to be the most professional and responsive so his company got the nod. It turned out that I made a good choice. The work was done on time and budget, with only a few minor issues which were quickly rectified. Ben's team obviously tidied up after themselves (even though the flat was mostly empty, it made life easier when cleaning it).Ben also kept me up to date with the progress of the work, which certainly helped.In a word, reliable.

I was told they were quite busy but could fit us in at the end of September.  Personal circumstances meant I didn't chase but did get an e-mail from them in November to say they had forgotten about us but would find space for us during early December (and wouldn't forget us again).

Its now February and they have forgotten us now twice.  Six months later we need to look for another company that can do the job.  I'm guessing we were forgotten, as we didn't have a big job but unfortunately it means we can't vouch for their service.

08/11/2011 		10 day job, external timber staining and painting of a mock tudor house. Not the cheapest quote but decided to use them on the basis of local references. A team of between 2 and 4 painters worked very hard, they were punctual, polite and tidy, and quality of work very good. I like that they paid attention to health and safety - secure scaffold towers unlike some other painters who said they would use an unsupported ladder on top of the acrylic carport! The only negative thing I have to say is that at 10pm on the night before they were due to start I got a text message saying they couldn't come till after the weekend. Had I taken a day off work for that I would have been extremely annoyed.

31/12/2009 		Forster & co came highly recommended from several sources. Their quote wasn't the cheapest. But, it was the most comprehensive. It was also reasonable, and we liked their attitude. Good choice! They turned up on time, were polite and courteous, left everything tidy each day and, most importantly, completely transformed our house. They stripped all the old paper, plastered, re-lined the ceilings and walls and paimted top to bottom. we have never seen decorators prepare a room so thoroughly. They over-ran by a couple of days, but at no extra charge. We were delighted and would recommend them highly.

Good but not great

07/12/2009 		Very friendly, polite and talented company who provide a good service but evidently need monitoring as some things slip through the gap and don't get picked up by them as they start with great intentions but lack the consistency to follow through and deliver on their promises.Examples of their levels of attention to detail and customer service are text messages being sent fifteen minutes after they asked and arranged to be on site offering the apology that they want the day off, painting over old peeling paper rather than replacing and making good as per their quote, and promising to come back on a Saturday morning and make good a cupboard door that wouldn't close after they had painted it, but given that full payment had been made, they chose to neither turn up, nor phone nor apologise. (Edit – they did turn up the following Monday, unannounced, clearly when it suited them and happy to take the chance that someone would be home.)They appear to be a painting and decorating company that conforms to most of the stereotypes in that they promise John Lewis and deliver Matalan.

He and his painters were very professional and did an exceptional job and he also uses really high quality materials. The price was good and there were no hidden extras (in fact we got a small refund when it turned out that something he quoted for didn't require as much work as he estimated). The end result was beyond our expectations and our neighbours were asking for his number soon afterwards!!

24/09/2009 		Forster and  Co have now done 3 separate jobs for me, 2 indoors and one outside ( External painting of a 5 floor house, front and back) .  All the workers are courteous and prompt, arrive when they say and leave when they say, enabling you to get on with life while they work. All incredibly diligent. Service like that often comes at a price, and they are competitive but not cheap, but in terms of value for money when you take the service and quality into account, they are fantastic.

21/09/2009 		I have used Forster & Co Painter & Decorators many timesover the last 5 years. Every time I am always impressed with their service andtheir rates are very good. They always turn up on time (even at very shortnotice to short out small jobs). They believe in doing the job correctly and ata fair price. They often say we can do that, but it would be better and cheaperto do this. I have never found anybody in the area who could beat them onprice, or service.
