Fantastic bathroom installation

20/06/2011 		Jacek and team have just finished installing our bathroom.  Not only were they very competitively priced but they finished ahead of schedule and were very clean and tidy.  Jacek made some good recommendations and ideas and took time out to understand the look and feel we were trying to achieve.  As we both work it was important we had someone who was trustworthy, reliable and easy to contact when necessary and we had no issues in any of these areas. I would have no hesitation in re.commending Bathfit

14/03/2011 		I used Jacek (Bathfit) based on the recommendations on this site and wasn't disappointed. The design (including a drawing / clear written instructions) and sourcing of the fittings etc was done by me with some practical advice where required from Jacek. His team started on time and were thorough, working 6 days per week. He was also flexible in terms of the changes I made during the project and the extra work we agreed outside of the initial works. I cannot fault the quality of their work and am very pleased with the result.

03/12/2010 		I definitely agree with the other positive feedback on here. Jacek and Bathfit completed a major refurbishment of our bathroom. The work was completed on time and on budget. I particularly liked Jacek's experience and technical knowledge. Jacek suggested that we would need a pump for the shower (an issue no one else who quoted mentioned). I didnt really want a noisy pump, but having tried shower without it was obvious Jacek was right, and he duly installed it. Jacek is a man of relatively few words, his work is of a high quality.

The team turned up on schedule, finished the work on time and within budget and  cleaned up afterwads..All the work was done to a very high standard, Mario's tiling and plastering was superb. 05/07/2010 		Bathfit built a completely new showeroom and wardrobes for me. They started the job when they said they would, and finished when they said. There were no issues with cost (eventhough we made some changes to the original spec.) They provided a fairly priced quote and kept to it, and the quality of finish was good. I trust them to do a good job, and would use them again. They were sensitive to the fact that people were living in the house whilst they were working in it. I highly recommend them to others.

02/07/2010 		Bathfit completely refurbished our bathroom in May.Jacek gave us a very reasonable quote and explained how any "extras" would be costed so we didn't get any "nasty surprises". I was able to ask for advice on fiittings etc. in advance of the work starting, via email.
Jacek's workman was very hard working and completed the job on time and to a high standard.They removed all rubbish and were clean and tidy.We are very happy with the result.

04/05/2010 		Jacek and his team recently completely gutted and refitted my small en-suite bathroom. Not only had Jacek come up with a very reasonable quote very promptly (and stuck to it), he and his team worked tirelessly and finished the work to a very high standard in a very short time. All the carpets were covered, dirt and dust were therefore kept to a minimum and they even hoovered before leaving. All the old fittings were promptly taken away and not left lying in the front garden! $0They are very pleasant to have around, professional, courteous, efficient and helpful.I have no hesitation in recommending them.

All done within the 3 weeks as initially stated.  They were very tidy and hardworking throughout.  We are extremely happy with the end result.  We had a couple of minor details that needed sorting out afterwards but Jacek was happy to come and sort these out afterwards.  All in all good team work and they should be happy with their end results.

The job was finished on schedule, and a few little extra jobs that arose were dealt with without a problem. When a very minor issue arose a few weeks after completion, Jacek rectified it quickly. All in all, we were very satisfied.

I have always found him and his team very reliable and the work they have done has always been of an exemplary standard. I totally refute Robert Shaw's comments posted on this website - if you were to use Jacek, you would be provided with a very efficient and friendly service. And, unlike other firms I have used, you will not be charged the earth, and nothing is too much of a problem. I highly recommend Bathfit.

Jacek recently fitted a new bathroom for us and also solved our water pressure problem, which being in a basement flat had always been an issue.

No short cuts were taken with the preparation, walls were re-inforced, plasterboard was fully waterproofed, floor levelled, etc. Now you may say that this should be done as a matter of course, but at the same time a lot of fitters would not have bothered to correct a slightly sloping floor if it meant an extra day on the job.

The tiling and general finish was to a high standard.

Jacek sorted out a few problems with the suite/fittings suppliers, who - if it hadn't been for Jacek's eagle eye - would have quite happily delivered a faulty cabinet, a plugless bath and a shower head with no wall attachment.

Overall, the wife and I are very happy.

He got me substantial discounts on the bath, sink, tiles etc. I found him polite, pleasant and helpful. Three months later we got him back to do our shower room.

Great service from bathfit

17/12/2009 		Bathfit finished the complete refurbishment of my bathroom on 15 December - one day ahead of schedule. Their quote was very fair and there were no hidden extras. I am a thoroughly satisfield customer. Jacek's tiler/plumber worked incredibly hard and Jacek himself was on site twice a day. The attention to detail was very high - grout lines etc are all excellent. All in all extremely good value for money.

Terrible, awful - avoid these people

15/12/2009 		My 97 year old mother will have a rotten Christmas because of Jacek Kosikowski who trades as Bathfit (which he describes as a “company” but is not – it is a website, a domain name and a trading name).  

Jacek came to our house for an initial meeting, driving the Bathfit van.

Jacek later returned with two people that he introduced as "my team" (two guys called Marek and Marcin - M&M). Jacek carried out some measurements and examined the drains while M&M followed Jacek, talking in Polish. Later we got a typed quote, hand delivered by M&M that we accepted. We paid a £950 first stage payment and received a handwritten signed receipt, with the trading name of Jacek's other "company" JM Improvements.

Jacek returned again on Wednesday with M&M and they took their tools saying they were abandoning the job. They gave no explanation.  Marek drove away with Jacek in the Bathfit van. 

Jacek came to our house on Saturday with M&M, after we had complained on this website.  M&M spoke only in Polish, and after 10 minutes they left and Jacek remained to discuss the situation.  However, he accepts no responsibility for this disaster, and blamed his team M&M. 

Our room is wrecked, boards up, hole in the wall.  We are seeking compensation but so far have got nowhere.

07/12/2009 		Jacek came round to see what I had in mind the day after I called him and a few days later he gave me an estimate which I considered very reasonable.  I accepted it and he gave me a date he could start the work in about a month's time.  He said the job would take one week and it did.  It was carried out efficiently, without fuss and to a high standard of craftsmanship.  There were no arguments about extras, in fact it was a rare experience in the building business. I am delighted with the results and have no hesitation in recommending Bathfit to anyone who wants a first class service.

12/10/2009 		These guys are absolutely excellent. The quote was fair and delivered very quickly after our initial meeting. They meticulously protected our carpet with an ingenious plastic cover, and have transformed our shower room, fitting a new mixer, shower tray, and totally re-tiling it. They even painted the ceiling at no extra charge, and picked up additional tiles as I didn’t buy enough. They also worked across the weekend and Bank Holiday so as to finish when they said they would. Friendly, quiet and totally trustworthy, I’m delighted that we found these guys on the ChiswickW4 website and will be using them again for our bathroom soon. DL, W4.

06/04/2009 		Jacek and friend installed my bathroom on time, on budget and to a high class finish despite a few logistical challenges presented by the furniture I bought. Jacek went out of his way to adapt a vanity unit, including sourcing another top within 2 days (I was quoted 10 days at best by the supplier) when there were problems with the first one. I would highly recommend Jacek - I was consulted on all aspects of the job and readily took his advice on areas that I had not considered - as his work was clean and very friendly. Thank you.

They provided a reasonable quote, arrived on time, worked hard and completed the work in the stated time (8 days). I found them to be reliable, honest, thorough, knowledgeable and nice blokes with it. They accepted staggered payments throughout the course of the work. They also came back to sort out a minor issue after completion for no charge. I would use them again.

The job commenced and finished on schedule, and to budget, and we are delighted with the results. There was great attention to detail and an exellent finish. 15/11/2007 Did what they say on the tin! Started when agreed and just got on with the job. Worked very hard and no music! Very happy with results. They built a vanity unit and tiled and painted the tiny bathroom - which took 8 days as they were painstaking - even painted the wall INSIDE the vanity unit which would not be seen by anyone!

Jacek and his team refitted my bathroom in the summer of 2006. They have done a terrific job within the time specified, came up with some good ideas and kept the disruption to the minimum. I have recommended Jacek to my neighbours and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else.

We bought our property just over a month....
We bought our property just over a month ago and needed a totally new bathroom and some minor building work. We heard about this website through work and decided to give it a go, we called Bathfit on Saturday afternoon, met with Jacek on site that Sunday, and started the work on Tuesday - WOW, him and his guys are amazing, totally profesional and commited to doing the work with quality and within deadlines. Jacek and his company are a pleasure to work with, I would not hesitate in recomending them, and we are fussy! They are great guys.
