Having worked on prestigious contracts in 'shopfitting' for over 20 years, as both a joiner and a technical designer, I decided to set up my own joinery business with the main emphasis being on modern fitted wardrobes. Similar work is also considered. All work is made to measure with attention to detail being paramount. After sharing thoughts and ideas, a CAD drawing is produced for your approval prior to commencement of works. Quotations are free.

06/03/2012 		We recently had quite a lot of work done by Mike at the end of our house renovation - a wall of fitted wardrobes in one bedroom, a single wardrobe in another, floor to ceiling bookshelves in 2 downstairs rooms, and a tv unit including cupboard. All the work was done to a very high standard, and Mike was very helpful in coming back and touching up flaws caused by other contractors such as carpet fitters. He also offered good advice on finishing touches such as cornicings and skirtings. We were really pleased with the end result and with the whole experience, and would definitely recommend him.

06/11/2011 		Mike Brown recently fitted some alcove wardrobes for us and from start to finish his service and work was first class. The thing I found most refreshing was his honesty. He asked questions about what we wanted and tailored his recommendations to that. He was also prompt with a quote and called when he said he would to give us an update on when he might be able to fit them and tried to accomodate us where he could.

The wardrobes were fitted with a minimum of fuss and he left the room clean and tidy as if he'd never been there. We'd have no hesitation recommending Mike.

From the first contact Mike has been very friendly, efficient and did whatever he could to make the whole process as smooth and efficient as possible. The wardrobes themselves are of excellent quality, and installed on-time, on-budget and with a minimum of fuss. Mike also gave excellent advice in the design phase, which clear and swift designs, which took into account my own needs, combined with Mikes professional opinion.
Mike's passion is evident in the high quality of his work and attention to detail. The whole process has been a pleasure, and great value too.

10/03/2010 		Michael brown has just completed fitting wardrobes into alcoves in 2 rooms in our home, initially we were just having them in our 2 sons room, but we were so impressed with Michaels high standard of work and finished design that we decided to have our bedroom done alsol.Michael spent time discussing and drew detailled plans of what was proposed, and arranged date to start, arrived on time each day, worked all day, cleared and tidied up any mess each day with little disruption to our busy household, and stuck to timescales. we would highly recommend Michael he is a skilled and trustworthy carpenter, his work is exceptional and he is a perfectionist and he ensures you are happy with the finished product. Fantastic Design and Workmanship

06/11/2009 		Mike has just completed building a large fitted 3 section mirrored wardrobe and matching built in bookcase for us. We found him on this website and were impressed when we met him. He spent a great deal of time discussing our requirements and drawing detailed plans.  Mike is a very skilled carpenter who we would describe as a perfectionist in his attention to detail. He stuck to his timescales arrived promtly each day and the end product  he has built far exceeds our expectations. Infact we have now asked him to build another unit for us. Whilst more expensive than buying "flat pack" or ready made furniture, he was worth every penny. We fully recommend him and would be more than happy to allow prospective clients to view his workmanship.

Excellent design and execution

22/05/2009 		Mike's design for a new home office was much better than anything I could have thought of and his execution far exceeded my expectations. Detailed drawings supplied in advance of agreeing the work helped to get all the details sorted out in advance and ensured that I got what I wanted. His workmanship and attention to detail is superb and he is highly reliable and pleasant to deal with.  Although this was not a cheap option I consider that I've obtained very good value for money, and I recommend Michael to anyone who wants first class furniture design and/or build.

04/11/2008 		The very high standard of work and professionalism shown by Mike has impressed us immensely. Mike's designs and plans for the wardrobes were clear, concise and on time. He arrives on time, works all day, cleans up the (very little) mess and completes the job when he says he will. We found him extremely trustworthy and he was always happy to put our needs first and ensure we were happy with his work and the design as he worked. The finished product is beautiful - the attention to detail meticulous and the sheer white contemporary finish stunning and all done within days. We are delighted to thoroughly recommend Mike; but be quick - we intend to use him for other projects!

07/08/2008 		I found Mike to be an excellent carpenter, he came up with ideas that I hadnt even considered which actually gave us more storage and made the room look a lot better.  Most of the work is done off site so there is minimal mess in your house, where there was the inevitable sawdust Mike was very good at clearing up and leaving the place spotless. I felt very comfortable with leaving him to get on it in our house whilst I was out and about.  Mike isnt the cheapest but he is by far the best carpenter I have come across, would definitely use him again.

21/07/2008 		Mike built large wardrobes to our initial design.  From first contact to finish of job was just over three weeks.   Mike turned up on time, made useful suggestions, patiently showed us several options and, once commissioned, in less than two weeks we had our wardrobes finished.  Mike was courteous, efficient and prompt.  He was a very neat and tidy worker and the end result is very pleasing.  Mike obviously takes great pride in his work.  We highly recommend him and will certainly be using him again.

I commisioned Micheal to build 2 wardrob....
28/11/2007 I commisioned Micheal to build 2 wardrobes, one being a particularly intricate attic eaves wardrobe with handless doors and a tv set into one of the panels. Throughout the process from design to completed build, Micheal showed meticulous attention to detail and a passion for ensuring that the final build met all expections. Michael fitted in around a tight deadline and was exceptionally tidy throughout. I thoroughly recommend Michael for any carpentry work and will be using his services for future projects I have planned elsewhere in the house.

28/10/2007 Mike made us a bespoke window seat which also housed a radiator. We're very happy with his work, it's top notch. We'd happily use him again, he's very professional, turns up when he says he is going to discusses all aspects of the work beforehand and is reasonably priced. I'll certainly recommend him to friends and family should they need bespoke carpentry

12/09/2007 Mike was extremely friendly and personable and we met twice before any work began to ensure everybody was clear in what the expectations were. The measurements he took when visiting us, and the drawings that accompanied the quotation were very thorough and of a very professional standard. All the deadlines we agreed upon were met, and Mike was very considerate when working in the house; work was undertaken outside where possible to keep the mess to a minimum, and everything was tidied away at the end of each day. We found Mike extremely trustworthy and he provided an excellent service to us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend his 5 star service to anyone!

12/08/2007 I commissioned Michaal to install some fitted wardrobes. Michael is a perfectionist and once the very reasonable price was agreed, Michael pulled out all the stops to ensure a first rate product. I would definitely use Michael again - he is first rate and you can trust that he will get the job done to an excellent standard and well within agreed timescales. I was so impressed I gladly gave him a bonus!

Meticulous Mike's work is absolutely....
13/03/2007 Meticulous Mike's work is absolutely first class. He designed and made for us a large fitted kitchen dresser, master-bedroom fitted wardrobes with integral dressing table and utility-room cupboards.The whole process was carried out with utmost care and we are delighted with the results.

Mike Brown has recently completed a fitted wardrobe for me. I needed additional storage and was unsure of what would work best in my property. Mike spent some considerable time discussing a range of options with me and was able to offer valuable advice and recommendations. The result is excellent and was completed on time and to budget.
