26/04/2012 		Tony came out to repair my washing machine within an hour of my calling him.  He diagnosed the problem almost immediately and ordered the spare part required. The next day he was back as soon as he had the spare part and I am now listening once again to the soothing hum of my machine.  I am very impressed with Tony's efficient service and would not hesitate to recommend him.

15/02/2012 		After having read so many positive reviews we decided to contact Tony about a problem with our dishwasher. Tony arrived as promised and contacted me to confirm the time was convenient. He managed to quickly diagnose and solve the problem and stayed to make sure that everything was working as it should before he left. He also explained what the possible causes had been and how, if it happened again, what I could do to try and solve it myself. I was extremely impressed with Tony's service and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him and using him again.

12/01/2012 		Tony was recommended to us by a friend.  And what a recommendation that was.  He's possibly the world's most knowledgable, friendly and honourable engineer we've dealt with.  Twice now we have called him to help us with washing machine problems and on both occasions - rather than come out unnecessarily (at cost to us) - he went out of his way to give incredibly honest and impartial advice to us over the phone about the best way forward for us to solve our problem.  In one instance, he even talked us through how to fix the problem ourselves - how completely refreshing!  Can't wait to actually meet the genius behind the phone!

tony arrived promptly at the agreed time. he quickly worked out the problem with my washer drier and clearly explained this to me (just a blocked filter as it happened). He fixed this with minimal fuss. He is very personable and a pleasure to have working in your home. Recommended.

Tony came out the day after I spoke to him, was on time and identified the problem in a matter of minutes.  Luckily he had the necessary part on his van and fixed the machine in no time at all!
He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend him.

Fan oven repair

He returned my phone call within an hour, and arrived promptly when he said he would the following day.    Within 20 minutes he had diagnosed the problem with my fan oven and ordered a replacement part.  The part was delivered early and he was round to fix it within hours.    Fast, hugely efficient and excellent value for money.

18/10/2010 		Tony called in and quickly ascertained the issue with my rather old washerdryer. The necessary part was ordered that day and on the day of delivery of the part Tony returned to my place and fitted it. My washerdryer is back in use thankfully. He provided an excellent service which was prompt and efficient. Tony has been in the business long enough to know his stuff, and a bit more. On top of that he is reasonably priced and a nice guy.

Oven repair

06/10/2010 		I took the recommendations from W4 and rang Tony to come and mend my ailing oven - he came round on a Friday, quickly identified the problem and the remedy - that it was worth repairing rather than replacing given its age - and called the parts supplier immediately to order a new fan motor for the oven (with my approval on the price).  He called me on the Monday to say the part had arrived already and came back and fitted it.  I didn't pay him a bean until the second visit and he charged a very reasonable rate + the cost price of the part. He turns up when he says he is going to, is efficient,friendly  + clearly knows his stuff and I would highly recommend him.

Oven rescued promptly

28/09/2010 		In March this year Tony rescued our built-in electrical fan oven. I apologise to him that I've taken so long to post this feedback, but it means I can say that the oven is still working well.

Tony came out within a couple of days of being called, sourced the necessary part (heating element), took no money till all was fixed and complete, and was professional and friendly throughout.

(And I was truly pleased not to have to replace the whole oven.)

27/01/2010 		We have a very old tumble dryer the belt of which broke.  Tony came at the time he said he would and got straight to work.  He not only fixed the dryer but also gave it a good old clean and overhaul which will hopefully extend its life even further.  He was very polite and considerate , told me exactly the work that he was going to do/ had done and how much mess was involved.  He then tidied up after himself. I would definitely use him again.

He stayed far later than expected to ensure the job was fully tested, even missing pancake evening with his family. He's even phoned back to ensure there are no ongoing problems. He agreed to come round and fit it immediately unfortunately I was not available but we kept in contact and the following day I called and he came round in half and hour. He fully explained what he was doing and that he used Neff parts not generic parts. Would I recommend him ... not a question, YES.

02/09/2008 		After calling Bosch I was expecting a two week wait and to then be presented with a hefty bill.  However, Tony was able to come the next day and his fee was very reasonable.  Whilest fixing the machine he advised me of what he was doing, what the fault was and the most financially viable way of fixing it.  What more could you ask for?....oh yes, he was tidy too.  I would definately recommend him.

25/05/2006 I always dread things going wrong with household appliances etc because it is always such a nightmare finding someone to fix things professionally, without being over charged and also having to wait 2 days for them to turn up. BUT not this time! Tony D'Souza is a real find, he mended our broken washing machine professionally and promptly - recognising how desprate our need was, he prioritised the call and was with me within 30 mins. He was such a pleasure to deal with I have made sure I have his number somewhere safe. A trustorthy, reliable highly experienced guy. Look no further.

18/02/2006 My dishwasher had broken and Tony came out the next day and it was a minor problem and the hose had been conected to the worng pipe but he waited until the cycle had run twice and when he was happy he charged me his minimum rate of £58, I would definately call him again.

By the time I got round to calling Tony ....
16/09/2004 By the time I got round to calling Tony out, my washing machine needed repairs in three different places! I am happy to say that he restored it to full working order within an hour and managed to keep up a conversation with me and my chatty 3 year old at the same time. His service was extremely prompt and healso spotted a fourth problem with my machine along the way. I would definitely recommend him.

Tony came to fix my oven which was done with great care and professionalism. He was very friendly and explained in detail what exactly was wrong and what needed to be done to get it fixed. He found the problem straight away and was able to fix it in no time. I would definitely recommend him.

I rang Tony D'souza up to address a ....
I rang Tony D'souza up to address a 17yr++ washer dryer that was throwing water out. I work very close to the flat so he rang me as he was leaving his previous appt. Very courteous and efficient, he ran the m/c thru the cycle & diagnosed a leaking pump. He rang the parts supplier and after hearing that it was going to cost over £100 for parts alone, asked if I wanted to spent this sort of money on a m/c that could have further problems. He contacted a supplier and gave me a price with no obligations, and only charged me £48 for 1.5 hrs attendance. I consider that really good value,particularly when you consider the impartial advice offered. I'd recommend him, no hesitation.

Just like other reviewers... Tony came after 3 hours, did a temporary fix and recommended I did not go for full repair - not economic. Very pleasant and helpful and well worth £58

Very quick (3 hours) response, temporary repair effected immediately and advised me to replace rather than undergo full repair. Very friendly, professional service well worth the call out charge. Recommended.

The mechanic was unhappy that dishwasher....
The mechanic was unhappy that dishwasher was built in, but having got it out, declared it as being beyond repair and said I 'd be unwise to spend money on repairing it. Whilst psyching myself up to spend £300 or more on a new machine, switched it on and it worked straight away! So fault was obviously very minor . But it still cost me £58 for the verdict.

Tony was quick to respond to my call on a non-functioning tumble dryer. The problem was fixed as soon as the part arrived. He was friendly, reliable and prompt and his rates were very reasonable.
