11/06/2007 We've just had Nigel and the team spend 3 weeks in our house giving it the first paint it's seen in 4 years. They were fabulous to deal with and have done a stunning job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or call Nigel about anything paint related. The attention to detail is fabulous and the work second to none. They really do treat your house like it's their own. Can't rate them highly enough.

Nigel has completed two separate paintin....
Nigel has completed two separate painting & decorating jobs for us, almost a year apart and both at realatively short notice. On both occasions he turned up promptly to quote, provided the quote quickly and came in on budget. He completed the jobs entirely to our satisfaction, on time, left the house clean and tidy every evening, goes out of his way to be helpful and is a pleasure to work with. We are already thinking of our next project for him!

Nigel is great. We've used him several times and he always arrives as promised ,quickly and on time. His work is always of a very high standard and in addition he is very tidy whilst he works. I would highly recommend him !

We cannot praise Nigel highly enough: He....
We cannot praise Nigel highly enough: He's everything other contractors aren't - punctual, efficient, highly skilled, trustworthy and professional and on top of that so nice you feel you have a friend around! He's the only person not only remaining within budget, but also to be able to organise his time so well he turns up when he says he will and completes the job when he says he will! PLUS he's super-tidy and leaves the house tidier than it was before...! We'd recommend him blindly!

We were delighted with the work that Nig....
We were delighted with the work that Nigel did in repainting a number of rooms in our home. The workmanship was excellent and he tidied up perfectly afterwards. We found Nigel to be trustworthy and reliable - we had no trouble leaving him to work in our house while we went on holiday for a week. It was a pleasure coming home with all the work done! We would definitely recommend Nigel to anyone looking for a professional decorator and I'm sure we will have an opportunity to hire him again.

Nigel provided a very reasonable quote for painting our new loft and staircase, but was then unable to do the work himself due to other commitments. However the two person team he provided to do the job were excellent, careful,polite,unobtrusive, punctual and very tidy. Nigel monitored the job regularly and visited to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We have asked them to come back to do further work in the New Year.

i had nigel and his boys do the painting....
i had nigel and his boys do the painting and decorating for my flat and i would give him ten out of ten. he is very reasonable in his quote and his work was immaculate. my flat was transformed, thanks to him. he is a very friendly and honest guy and dispenses very honest advice. strongly recommend him.

Excellent and efficient work. Nigel repaired, papered and re-painted after wate damage from upstairs. It just looks fantastic now- an amazing job. COmpleted on time to the reasonable quote. Left it spotless. I'd recommend him without hesitation

Nigel is not only a meticulous decorator, he is a pleasure to have in your home. The cost was extremely good value compared with other quotes we had, his time keeping was exemplary, his vacuuming better than our cleaner's (the house was tidied perfectly at the end of every day). We haven't stopped recommending him to people...

Nigel and his team did a fantastic job of walpapering part of our flat, and filling and painting. They left it spotless each evening when they went home, and did a great job. Really pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Not only a very professional service, but also a joy to have in the house. Nigel and his team are talented, quick, careful, don't play loud music or smoke inside, tidy and clean up afterwards, and even bring their own flasks of tea. AND he reduced his bill as he spent less time than estimated. Why use anyone else?

The perfect painter/decorator. A thoroughly professional job and a joy to deal with. His advice and concern for our property was above and beyond the call of duty and was totally focused on our requirements rather than generating the biggest bill. No need to look any further - give Nigel a call!

Nigel and his team have recently completed a tricky wallpapering job for us and we cannot recommend them too highly. His team turned up promptly each day, worked non-stop and cleaned up thoroughly each evening.I feel Nigel offers good value for money and delivers what he promises.

Nigel is an ex-bank manager turned painter & decorator. His attention to detail and pride in his work is astonishing. We found his prices very reasonable & used him to decorate our whole house. He sticks to both time and budget & is very trustworthy (so much so that we just gave him the housekeys and went on holiday leaving him to get on with it). I absolutely recommend him

I contacted Nigel as well as another com....
I contacted Nigel as well as another company on the Chiswick W4 website and Nigel gave the cheapest quote by far. He recently completed a very professional job of painting our living room. The workmanship was fantastic and he moved all the furniture back himself before leaving! Did exactly what he said, was on time and very personable and professional. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Nigel is a great guy except for his joke....
Nigel is a great guy except for his jokes... He arrived to quote me at the time agreed (rare to start with),turned up on the day promised (booked a month ahead)and then did a beautiful job at a fair price for the standard of workmanship. There were some tricky electrical and structural issues in my kitchen also which he surmounted without any fuss or shaking of the head as builders often do. He takes real care and is also a great bloke. Would always use him again.

Nigel did a great job for us. A very reasonable quote, which he kept to, he was on time, did the work in the time he said it would take and kept everywhere really tidy and clean. He was also very helpful and honest about what the most practical options were for a cost effective yet smart finish which also took into account kids' wear and tear. We will definitely use him again.

Another great job from Nigel and his gang. We are always impressed by the end results and this time was just the same. Furthermore the guys are a pleasure to have in the house and they clean up exceptionally well too.

I got Nigel Brooke to quote for some decorating work on the basis of glowing references on ChiswickW4.com The whole experience of dealing with him was a pleasure: he turned up when promised, the work was of excellent quality, and he kept me informed throughout of any problems or hiccups. The final bill, incidentally, was slightly less than the quotation. And as well as all that, he's a charming man. Highly recommended.
