Could not diasgree more. I have been a regular at Villandry since it opened and have always found the food and, particularly, the service first-rate. true the portions are not generous but the quality of the ingredients more than makes up for this. I recently had the toast/bread basket as a snack which was ample and both honey and conserve were excellent. Once you get to know the staff and they know you, you are assured of a warm, attentive welcome on every revisit. Today, the seafood linguine was perfect and this venue has become a firm favourite. The coffee is excellent and it is that which first attracted me to this restaurant.
