Quick and efficient

06/07/2020 		Rado is always on hand and easy to contact.  He organised his team to take down a chimney stack from our bedroom.  This was done quickly and with minimum disruption and dust.  Every evening the room was hoovered.



Rado organised the decoration of the hall stairs and landing.  The area was well prepared and we are so pleased with the end result.  Each day the area was hoovered so dust was kept to a minimum.  All his team are polite and professional and work quietly.  




I will definitely be using him again and will recommend him.

11/01/2019 		Very pleased with the Bathroom retyling and refitment done by Rado’s team. Extremely quick and tidy work and all done to a much higher standard than the old work.
  They even tanked the wall and floor behind the shower tiles to ensure no leaks will ever occur to the room below (that all too common problem with converted bathrooms in our gently shifting Victorian houses !).

Painting, decorating, handyman work

Full House painting inside & outside

Disappointing

19/04/2017 		It pains me to have to rate someone one star as I wasn't even able to rate this on their actual work as I had a booking made to which they left me waiting in for almost two hours without even a phone call to let me know they were running late! Especially after I had called a few times and emailed to enquire where they were, making myself late for work. We are a generation who rely on online ratings to judge whether a person or company can be reliable, trustworthy and utmost respectful as we let them enter our homes. I have been severely let down and inconvenienced without even a courtesy call.
Rado was polite when we met (to which I give him credit) but did lack in communication about prices and I found I had to repeat myself on what exactly we needed doing. 

I am patient and understanding of delays we all have in life but how hard is it in this day to make a phone call! Utterly disappointed by service received :(

Very quick and efficient

Rado and all his team are and absolute pleasure and delight to work with - polite, punctual, clean/tidy, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Rado is responsive and always got back to us via text/phone or email very quickly with any answers to questions we had or just as general communication. We couldn't be happier with the result.  The work has been done to a really high standard and would particularly like to mention the tiling and carpentry which have added an excellent finish. Rado was always available to answer queries and deal with any issues and responded to messages promptly - even when he was on holiday! His team of builders were always courteous and cleaned up after themselves too. All in all we are very satisfied with the work and would not hesitate to get them in again should we do any more renovations in the future.

Everyone did an excellent job - arrived when they said they would, did the work on time, were clean and tidy.  We could always get hold of Rado on the phone, and everything went very smoothly.  They also, via their handyman company, mended the roof of our bike shed - again on time, tidily and ending up as a really good job.   I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Great Kitchen and Bathroom refit

We have used RP Builders for the gutting and replacement of both of Kitchen and Bathroom. 

The 2 1/2 month project was a particular challenge due to the fact that I lived abroad. However with only 2 meetings required (at the beginning and end of the work) RP project managed it beautifully, regularly emailing me with updates and photos. When an issue occurred Rado was always available to take my calls and provide various options to address issues. All challenges were solvable with a flexible team available to address all the little surprises you have when working with kitchens and bathrooms in 100 year old buildings. 

I would highly recommend RP Builders both in terms of their quality, reliability and flexibility.

An excellent firm

13/07/2015 		We used RP as the building contractor on our kitchen renovation, involving stripping the old kitchen out, remaking the plumbing and electrics, renovating the oak floor, making the walls good, constructing a new cupboard, tiling and redecorating.  This involved close co-operation with our kitchen units company.

I would not hesitate to use RP again, and highly recommend others to get them to quote.  Rado the boss has two great strengths which in my experience are rare to non-existent in smaller building contractors:  he is a terrific project manager, so things get done on time and as promised, and an equally good communicator.  He actually answers emails and texts promptly, and calls you regularly with updates. Amazing!

Equally vital, he uses a very professional team of tradesmen, all Bulgarians most of whom have been here for years and speak good English.  We were very happy with all their work.  They co-operated very well with the kitchen supplier.  They were all flexible and responsive to requests.

Finally, the price was very fair and all the extras were calculated correctly.  Altogether a very positive experience, try them!

This included all aspects of plumbing, electrical and tiling work for 4 bathrooms, plumbing and electrical work for a new kitchen and installing new ceilings, plastering, skimming, painting and wallpapering to a high standard.The key difference we found in was that Rado relies upon specialist tradesmen who are skilled in their respective trade and take pride in the quality of their work which shows in the final result. Rado has excellent communication skills and always responsive. He worked closely with us to provide a detailed cost schedule at the start of the project and we were always kept informed of developments or any additional costs. Given the scale of the project, we made certain changes to specification and design aspects and Rado's team were flexible and adapted to our changes which we appreciated. The team also worked closely with our kitchen company to ensure the installation was streamlined and they were on site to resolve any issues. We have no hesitation in recommending Rado and R.P General Builders.

12/08/2014 		I have recently had my house painted by R.P General Builders & Decorators and found the work to be of high quality, done in the time agreed and to the agreed cost.
Rado, who runs the company is very good at keeping in touch either by email or text and responds quickly to any queries. His team of painters were also careful and friendly and did a thorough job with the aim of satisfying the customer.

If I have any complaint it would be that some of the glass was also painted but not much and nothing that could be cleaned off easily with a razor blade.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone wanting decorating done and I suspect that the quality of their other building skills is equally as good.

Over the years I met and contracted many companies and free lance tradesmen while buying or selling a property in London but no one match the service I received recently by the R.P. General Builders Ltd. I am delighted I found a building and decorating company which breaks the stereotype. I couldn't recommend Rando and his company highly enough. He's a true professional, highly dedicated and courteous, with excellent communication skills, responsive, and more immportantly in our days he's trustworthy! Rando was a pleasure to work with at all times. The job was done stress free, within budget and on time.



Several places of the interior of my apartment were painted over the course of a few weeks including a bedroom which had water leak from a flat above. George was very professional, punctual, efficient, tidy, he listened to what I wanted, he delivered quality of work and above all he's a true gentleman!

29/04/2014 		I would recommend Rado and his team. We got them in to do three jobs
in our house in Chiswick in April 2014: to install a new shower over
an existing bath and to extend tiling up; to build a bespoke
floor-to-ceiling TV cabinet with shelves to match existing woodwork;
and to fix some faulty locks on our back doors. The quote was assessed
and delivered within a few days over email. Rado was great at keeping in touch via text and email - letting us know when his team would
be arriving so we could let them in to the house and answering any
questions we had during the work. We gave them a deadline of a family
visit to work to and all work was completed to time. They even did
some 'extra' small jobs for us - the carpenter planed a door and
trimmed some wood in our kitchen to allow the dishwasher to shut
properly. The finished work is excellent - really top quality. The
team were all very clean, laying down protective mats on the floor
while they worked and tidying up after themselves each day, as well as
taking away all waste materials at the end. I would definitely use
them again.

I was very impressed with the quality of the work. Rado or his foreman, Ivan, were exceptionally responsive. Their communication is excellent, and Rado runs a very professional and responsive team. 12/11/2013 		Rado and his team refurbished a 2 bedroom flat. Rado is very organised, great attention to detail and impeccably professional. His team were friendly, reliable and did everything to a high standard. The job overlapped with my summer holiday and Rado's, but the work still got done with Rado managing from a distance. They accommodated all the inevitable extras, and most importantly were very responsible and responsive tying up the couple of loose ends. I would definitely recommend Rado's team and would certainly use them again.

08/10/2013 		Rado and his team worked on a full house redecoration including replastering a number of rooms, and installing a bathroom.  Rado was an excellent project manager who responded immediately to any requests, coordinating his team sometimes at short notice.  His team were hardworking and got things done efficiently, working around other projects in the house at times.  We knew what was happening at all times and had no surprises - top job.  We gave additional work to Rado as the project progressed and we were confident they would be done properly and will continue to use on future work.

RP Decorators do what it says on the tin

21/06/2013 		Radoslav quoted last year to do a job he was eventually asked to do this year and he was good enough to keep the quote at the same level. His team were professional and polite and did what looks like a great job (full external redecoration of all the woodwork). He had a scaffolder he uses but we found one cheaper. Radoslav himself was excellent on the communication side and seemed very focused on customer satisfaction, coming over to look at minor niggles and sorting them immediately. I would not hesitate to use him again.

13/04/2013 		I've rated RP Decorators 5 star because from start to finish Rado and his team did an excellent job. I live abroad and employed RPD to totally re-do a bathroom in our house - currently rented out. Rado had to manage keeping in close contact with me via e-mail and mobile, whilst keeping to a strict timescale. He also had to be mindful of our Tenants, taking care to be on time, quick yet thorough and of course to leave the house immaculate. He did all this and more.
At short notice he organised additional work such as heating repair and paint work in other rooms. Managing home improvements from abroad is a tough one but RPD took all the stress away. Rado's budgets were spot on so there were no nasty surprises. I'm happy to recommend RPD - they're great.

We needed someone to paint the internal walls and woodworks (shelves and built-in wardrobes).  Rado and his team provided a service to the highest standards.
We later called them to fix a leak from a shower and they were very prompt and available, they found the cause of the leak very quickly, repaired it and did an excellent job to fit the tiles of the bathroom back in place.
Rado was always very available both at the phone and email, provided a clear breakdown of all the costs involved for each single piece of work and always showed the receipts of the materials he needed to buy.
His team of workers were always nice and cheerful and finished the job in the scheduled times.
We would certainly recommend them.

Peace of mind for landlord abroad

Without any hesitation Rado made contact with our tenant to assess and quote for the job, arranged to do the work over the Christmas period when the tenant was away when few other companies might have been willing to work, and completed the job with minimal fuss whilst staying in constant contact about the work being carried out.$0Rado was very pleasant to deal with, and he and his team were prepared to go the extra mile and work without anyone overseeing that the work was being done properly. Most importantly he did an excellent job. Excellent Renovation and Decoration

Rado is incredibly cheerful, organised and hardworking and his team polite and punctual; completing work to a very high standard. Work included fitting an en suite bathroom in a loft conversion, repairing damaged external masonry and woodwork as well as general decoration, all of which we were very happy with and was priced very competitively. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

As we don't live in London , it could have been very difficult to organise, but rado was fantastic, keeping me updated on progress, choosing shower fittings when I couldn't be ther which was time consuming and unexpected when he started the job. He even emailed me photos so I could see the quality of the work which looks to be of a high standard. Some other jobs cropped up and he managed to fit these in too, all in a short time scale. Would certainly use agan.

This saved us from moving out of our home while the redecorating was being done. Both the plastering and the paintwork were done in a highly professional manner and Radoslav's colleagues cleaned up and vacuumed at the close of every day. We are truly pleased with the result.
